After the quote prices have been displayed, select a board quantity and price by clicking the dot next to it. Then click the button at the bottom of the page that says “place order”.

Order Identification
You will be prompted to give your project a name. The name of your project is up to you. The Revision is also up to you as the customer.

File Handling
Checking this box tells us that you would like your files and assembly tools stored for one year. There is a charge for this service. If you already have your files and assembly tools stored you should email us at sales@horizonpcb.com at the time you re-order and let us know. We will refund the portion of your bill that normally goes towards these items.

Shipping Us Parts
Let us know when we can expect your parts. The turn time that you’ve selected will begin when your components and boards arrive. We need to organize our manufacturing schedule to accommodate your order so your best estimate of when your last package will reach us is helpful. You will be prompted to “add a box”. In the “box coming from” field please put your address if it is coming directly from your company or if it is being “drop shipped” please put the name of the company it is being shipped from.

Example: put “Digikey” if it is “drop shipped” from Digikey Inc component distributor.

The “Box Content” field can have either a description like “circuit boards” or more preferable an actual inventory of the items and quantities that the box contains.

Parts Information
If parts or documentation is incomplete or incorrect we need to know what action to take. If you chose the option that you would like us to continue to build then boards will have some components that are not place. The second option is that we will call you to discuss what should be done. This will cause some delay. The maximum amount of delay would be if we are unable to quickly contact you or the resolution causes additional delays and we must remove the project form the manufacturing machines. In some cases additional charges will apply.

Emergency Contact
Please give the name of a contact and an emergency number where some who is able to make decisions about the order can be reached even during off hours.

Specific Comments/ Comments for Assembly
Use this field to add any information that you believe will be helpful during the manufacture of your printed circuit boards.

Shipping Address
Inter the address you would like the completed boards sent to.

Shipping Preference
Select the method of shipping that you would like used.

Example: “FEDEX” time “1” is FEDEX next day.

Promotional Code
If you have a promotional code that is currently active you can enter it in this field to collect your discount.

Sending Files
Files can be uploaded at a later date to files@horizonpcb.com. It is important to upload files as quickly as possible to give us the maximum time to evaluate them and make notification if problems are detected. You may also select to upload files at this time. Selecting this option will give you the ability to browse for the files you want to upload. All the files that will be uploaded should be put together in a directory (folder) and it should be zipped to minimize upload time. The directory should be named with the number from your quote.

The more information that we have about your job the more able we are to get past problems. The zipped folder should have all the gerber files including files for the board, silkscreen, drill (excellon), and aperture files. If ODB++ files are to be used then they must be included in the zipped folder. The bill of materials (BOM) must be included. For directions on the BOM format please look for the sample BOM format. The board files from the CAD program that you are using are a bonus and will allow us to create new gerber or ODB++ files if problems are found.
