Printed Circuit Board Assembly

Horizon Printed Circuits provides printed circuit board assembly services to customers that cover a large range of expertise. Some of our customers have international businesses and sell large volumes of very complex circuit boards. There is another segment of our customer base that is made up of small businesses that sell only small numbers of circuit boards. Some of these printed circuit boards have only a few components and don’t present much of a challenge.

Advanced Printed Circuit Boards

There are many different types of printed circuit boards that might fall under the title of “advanced printed circuit boards”. I can think of several off the top of my head; high density interconnect (HDI), controlled impedance, aluminum clad, flex, rigid flex, and blind-and-buried come to mind. Nearly every type of industry has some type of printed circuit board (PCB) that will fit this description.

Cut Tape

Cut tape is a fact of life when you are a contract manufacturer assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) in short run and prototype quantities. There is nothing that can be done to make cut tape as easy and economical to work with as reels but it does impact several aspects of the assembly process.

PCB Fabrication Services are a Hit at HPC

Horizon Printed Circuits has been going through a period of high growth while simultaneously improving our services to meet the needs of our customers. DEPANELING BOARDS

This is not a new topic but it is one that pops up occasionally. The topic usually comes up when I’m on the phone with a puzzled customer that wants to know why we are always breaking the same capacitor on every board. Horizon Printed Circuits isn’t perfect but this particular conversation almost always leads to a discussion about how circuit boards are taken out of the panels.
